Compensation
Our compensation philosophy recognizes that people drive profitability and competitive advantage. Our compensation programs for employees are based on two principles:
- The Market Counts: our pay package is competitive when measured against the appropriate set of peer companies that are in the same market for talent.
- Performance Counts: pay is linked to individual performance and, depending on an employee’s role and level, the performance of a business unit/function and the Company.
The three components of our compensation package are: base salary, annual incentives, and long-term incentives. Eligibility for our annual and long-term incentives is based on an employee’s job and level in the organization. As employees progress within Campbell, incentives play a greater role in their overall compensation package.
Benefits
For U.S.-based employees, our benefits philosophy is founded on four principles:
